REVIEW Tilmicosin phosphate is a semisynthetic macrolide antibiotic salt derivative prepared by chemical modification of desmycosil. It is used in veterinary medicine for the treatment of bovine respiratory disease and ovine respiratory disease associated with Mannheimia (Pasteurella) haemolytica, Tilmicosin has also been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties.
